Box Wire is made from black annealed baling wire, in various gauges, and has been coiled to a specific weight of 50 lbs or 100 lbs, and boxed. Box Wire is used in horizontal auto-tie balers. Generally used for the compact storage of cardboard and plastic.
Stand Wire, also known as Carrier Wire, is commonly used to for baling paper, plastics, cardboard and textiles. Galvanized Stand Wire is used with Two Ram Balers and Auto Tie machines. Black Annealed Stand Wire is used with Single Ram Balers.
Single-Loop Bale Ties have one loop that is twist-tied on one end of the wire and straight-cut on the other end of the baling wire. Commonly used to bundle commodities such as plastic, paper, cardboard, metal, and clothing together in a compact bale.
Double-Loop Bale Ties have one loop on each end of the baling wire that snaps together quickly, providing high strength and ease of use. Manufactured for binding bales of highly expanding materials such as cotton, foam, fibers and hay.
Vertical Balers are positioned vertically and use Single-Loop or Double-Loop Bale Ties.
Horizontal Balers are positioned horizontally and are either manual tie or auto tie. Manual tie equipment uses Single-Loop or Double-Loop Bale Ties, while Auto Tie uses Box Wire or Stand Wire.
Two-Ram Balers tie automatically and use 11g or 12g Galvanized Stand Wire.
Black Annealed Baling Wire is very resilient, easy to work with, and is the solution for baling materials that expand. Ideal for the recycling, agriculture, or construction industries.
Bright Basic is used for Double Loop Bale Ties. Similar to Black Annealed wire, but without the oil finish.
Galvanized baling wire has a higher tensile strength with less elongation than black annealed baling wire. Galvanized wire is the most durable and versatile, and is recommended when storing your baled material in a location that has exposure to outdoor elements.
Galvanized Hi-Tensile is incredibly strong. Commonly used in auto-tie balers, two-ram balers using a wire tier system.
QUICKSILVERâ„¢ is a cost-effective alternative to Galvanized single-loop bale ties, and yields a higher break strength at a thinner gauge then galvanized wire.
Wire gauge is the thickness of the wire. The lower the gauge, the thicker the wire—for example, 9 gauge is thicker than 12 gauge.
Number of bale ties per bundle and varies based on the length of the wire. Select Single-Loop or Double-Loop Bale Ties to determine options.
Single-Loop Bale Ties are commonly used to bale plastic, cardboard, paper, metal, clothing, aluminum, hay, construction materials/debris.
Double-Loop Bale Ties are commonly used to bale tire and foam.
